The acidification of drinking water benefits the health of the birds. The reason for this is simple: bacteria and / or micro-organisms grow poorly in an acidic environment. Normal tap water has a pH of 7 to 8 (= acidity). The acidification of drinking water is not difficult. We can add a weak acid like apple vinegar to water or tap water with the aim of giving the water a lower acidity (pH value).
Composition: Apple vinegar
Use:
Birds: 5-10 ml per liter of water, 10 days
Pigeons: 10-20 ml per liter of water, 10 days
Store cool and dry. Always provide fresh drinking water.
